Terms of Sale
1. Scope
These Terms of Sale govern all orders placed with MECHteam Kft. (registration no. 10-09-040626, VAT HU32513477) for mechanical processing services, including but not limited to CNC milling, lathe machining, laser cutting, bending, welding, PEM pressing, bolt welding, and rod sawing.
2. Quotations and Orders
All quotations issued by MECHteam Kft. are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. A quotation does not constitute a binding offer. A contract is formed only when MECHteam Kft. issues a written order confirmation.
By placing an order, the customer confirms acceptance of these Terms of Sale and warrants that all technical specifications, drawings, and files provided are accurate and complete.
3. Prices and Payment
- All prices are quoted in EUR and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
- Payment terms: 30 days net from the date of invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- MECHteam Kft. reserves the right to require advance payment or a deposit for new customers or orders exceeding โฌ5,000.
- Late payments will incur interest at the rate permitted under Hungarian law (Act V of 2013, Civil Code).
4. Delivery
Delivery dates are estimates and are not binding unless explicitly confirmed in writing. MECHteam Kft. shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including supply chain disruptions, force majeure, or incomplete specifications from the customer.
Risk transfers to the customer upon handover of goods to the carrier (Ex Works โ EXW Felsลtรกrkรกny, Incoterms 2020), unless otherwise agreed.
5. Quality and Tolerances
All work is performed according to the specifications provided by the customer. Unless otherwise agreed, standard tolerances conform to ISO 2768-m (medium). The customer is responsible for specifying tighter tolerances where required.
6. Claims and Returns
The customer must inspect delivered goods within 5 business days of receipt. Claims for visible defects must be submitted in writing within this period. Hidden defects must be reported within 8 days of discovery, but no later than 12 months from delivery.
MECHteam Kft. will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or credit defective goods. Liability is limited to the value of the defective order.
7. Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled only with written agreement from MECHteam Kft. The customer shall reimburse all costs incurred up to the point of cancellation, including materials, labour, and any third-party expenses.
8. Retention of Title
All goods remain the property of MECHteam Kft. until full payment has been received.
9. Liability
MECHteam Kft.'s total liability for any claim arising from or in connection with an order shall not exceed the total value of that order. MECHteam Kft. shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Sale are governed by Hungarian law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court of Eger, Hungary.
